There’s always a lot happening in the Columbus restaurant world! Here’s the latest:
- Adelaide’s Gin Joint celebrates its grand opening today at 2333 N. High St. in Old North. Taking over the former Trillium Haven/Alana’s space, Adelaide’s offers Prohibition-inspired cocktails, small plates, and live jazz. Get a full look at the menu and space here!
- After a hiatus since the early days of the pandemic, El Camino Inn downtown re-opened yesterday! Located at 238 S. Fourth St., the joint features Mexican street food, margaritas, and other cocktails.
- Woodhouse Vegan announced last week that it will be leaving its Italian Village space at 851 N. Fourth St. to merge with its Short North cafe at 19 W. Russell St., which it currently shares with Park Service Coffee.
- Crimson Cup shared that it has a new location coming soon to Lewis Center. An exact opening date and address haven’t been announced yet. This joins area shops in Clintonville, Upper Arlington, and Easton.
- While the Spaghetti Warehouse is working on reopening in a new location downtown, they’re hosting a Savor the Memories contest, where you can submit favorite recollections of meals there. You could potentially win lasagna for life! Details are on their website.
- The Coffee ColLab returns tonight – Friday, Oct. 13 – from 5-9 p.m. at Crimson Cup’s Innovation Lab. You can meet local roasters, catch a latte art competition, taste Crimson‘s fall menu, and other java-related fun.
- Columbus Monthly will host its first-ever cocktail competition on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at Vitria on the Square. Presented by Noble Cut Distillery, the competition will feature cocktails made by local restaurants, with guests voting on their favorite.
- The Donut & Beer Festival is returning to Huntington Park on Saturday, Oct. 28. It pairs, yes, beer and donuts.
