Land-Grant Brewing’s beer garden has long been a popular hangout, especially as its grown over their nine years to include a small stage, picnic tables and firepits, TVs, and food trucks like Ray Ray’s and Late Night Slice.
This season they’ve partnered with the new Gravity 2 development next door to create the Gravity Experience Park. It takes over the empty gravel lot next to the Idea Foundry.
The full Gravity Experience Park includes a bar, plenty of seating, public art, a stage. What will eventually become a pickleball court is now an ice bumper car rink.
Of course, the park features a small bar with Land-Grant beers available on tap or in the can.
The ice bumper cars are battery powered, so you can scoot and bounce around the rink. You sign up at the kiosk next to the rink; it costs $10 for 10 minutes. You can get more info here!
A portion of Land-Grant’s regular beer garden has again been converted to keg curling lanes – maybe better described as “ice shuffleboard.”
The reservable lanes are surrounded by heated igloos, so with your lane you get a cozy place to sit with food and drink while you play. Reservations are for 90 minutes, for a group up to eight people.
Note that the activities are family-friendly until 8 p.m., and then 21+ after.
There are reservable heated igloos around the rest of Land-Grant’s beer garden. A QR code in the tent lets you order beers from the taproom and have them delivered.
And the igloos are a short walk from the Ray Ray’s Hog Pit and Mikey’s Late Night Slice food trucks.
