Get Some of Columbus’ Most Creative Flavors at Rose Dough Donuts

February 10, 2023

We have no shortage of great donuts in Columbus, but it’s always rewarding to see someone doing something new – and doing them so well! Enter Rose Dough Donuts.

Rose Dough Donuts is currently operating out of 1400 Food Lab, the shared commercial kitchen space off Dublin Road near Grandview/Marble Cliff.

While owner Katie Passo occasionally does markets and pop-ups, she mainly sells donuts via pre-orders on her site with pickup at the kitchens on Saturdays. Follow her on social media and order online through her website: rosedoughdonuts.com.

Rose Dough features scratch-made brioche donuts, old fashioneds, and crullers, often with weekly specials and seasonal offerings. We’ve tried a number of flavors this year and have been really impressed by all of them.

This was one of my favorites, a tiramisu donut done for Mardi Gras.

And a classic paczki-style donut filled with jam and coated with powdered sugar.

These beauties were featured around Valentine’s Day.

And she got really creative around Thanksgiving with flavors like hot honey butter cornbread, Thanksgiving stuffing, blood orange sage, and cranberry herb!

It’s fun to see what comes up every week on her social media. I’d highly recommend placing an order sometime!
