Dayton is a city rich in history. Many of its attractions are built around its two most famous residents, Wilbur and Orville Wright, but the city also includes great historic districts, coffee and beer, art museums, and more.

Press Coffee Bar: terrific spot for coffee in the historic Oregon District
Van Buren Room: a pre-Prohibition style cocktail bar in the Oregon District, operated by Belle of Dayton distillery
Warped Wing Brewing: a spacious downtown taproom in an old factory, with house-made sodas and an in-house menu of bar snacks. Warped Wing just added a second taproom and barrel house in Springboro.
Parks & Attractions
2nd Street Market: a year-round market in an old train depot, featuring local food and craft vendors
Dayton Art Institute: a nationally recognized art museum hosting exhibitions, classes, and special events
Dayton Aviation Heritage Trail: a collection of sites related to the Wright Brothers operated by the National Park Service. Includes a museum (partly dedicated to Dayton author Paul Laurence Dunbar), one of the brothers' old print shops, the previous site of their home, and the Huffman Prairie near Wright-Patt, where they flew their planes.
National Museum of the U.S. Air Force: a must-visit in Dayton! Located next to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the museum features four giant hangars loaded with aircraft, spanning Wright brothers artifacts to modern planes. Free admission!
