I don’t know about your family, but ours is on spring break this coming week. That means we’re planning hikes, museum visits, baseball games, and a little family travel. Why not make breakfast part of your adventures?
1. German Village Coffee Shop – Our boys have loved going to this German Village institution, especially for their seasonal pancakes and crispy bacon. The place is small and cozy, but we’ve always felt at home. Bonus: after you’re done with breakfast, you’re close to Schiller Park, the Grange Audubon Center, and COSI.
2. The Social at Whole Foods Upper Arlington – Whole Foods’ in-house restaurant is a casual little spot serving inexpensive breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, and drinks. They open early at 7 a.m. Bonus: pair it with some exploring at Northam Park or Antrim Park nearby.
3. Honey Dip Donuts & Diner – Honey Dip meets all your needs: a diner with hearty breakfasts for the whole family, a fun atmosphere, and… donuts! Bonus: hit up Honey Dip on your way to the Columbus Zoo or Highbanks or Glacier Ridge metroparks!
And there are many more spots to visit! Chef-O-Nette diner, Acre, Amy’s Donuts, Little Donut Shop. We love pairing breakfast with an adventure like hiking a metropark or visiting a museum.
