There’s a lot happening in the Columbus restaurant world – here’s the latest!
- Alchemy juice bar soft opened their second store at 1439 Grandview Ave. earlier this week, and hosts their grand opening this Sunday, May 6. They’ll be serving juices, smoothies, bowls, and brunch all day!
- The Columbus Commons Food Truck Food Court kicked off for the season and runs through late October. Every Thursday a rotating collection of trucks gathers at the south end of the Commons to serve the lunch crowd.
- The Avenue Steak Tavern in Dublin held their grand opening this week. Located at 94 N. High St., this is the second Avenue Steak Tavern location for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants; the first opened in Grandview in early 2016.
- The Ugly Tuna Saloona in the Gateway University District has closed.
- Restoration Brew Worx in Delaware began opening for lunch this week.
- Poke Bros announced they’ll be opening a third location at 599 S. State St. in Westerville. This joins locations at Polaris and downtown.
- Hot dog and beer joint Buns & Brews re-opens in their new location at 970 Parsons Ave. today. They originally opened in Short North.
- Taste of Dine Originals is next week Thursday, May 10 at Franklin Park Conservatory. You can sample food and drink from the 40 member restaurants of Dine Originals that night; the event benefits Buckeye Ranch.
- The new Jubilee Market & Cafe is slated to open May 16 at 1160 W. Broad St. Operated by Lower Lights Christian Health Center, the non-profit market and cafe is intended to provide fresh fruit, educational opportunities, and meeting spaces for the surrounding neighborhood.
