There’s a lot happening in the Columbus restaurant world – here’s the latest!
- The Pearl Market opens for the season today and runs every Tuesday and Friday through mid-October. Because of construction around the Rhodes Tower, the market has moved this year to the north plaza of the Ohio Statehouse.
- The Blue Danube near campus, which was slated to close around Father’s Day, closed up their doors early this week.
- One Line Coffee and MMELO Boutique Confections announced they’re opening a joint coffee shop next year at the corner of Rich and McDowell Streets in Franklinton.
- Legacy Smokehouse opened a location at 340 Greenlawn Ave. in the Brewery District this week. They’re also operating a stall in the Short North Food Hall and have a location coming soon to Hilliard.
- Earlier this month, Stauf’s opened a new location at 350 Mt. Vernon Ave. in the View on the Grant building in the Discovery District. The shop is open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- The LC Goat location at 219 S. High St. downtown opened an espresso bar last week.
- Oregon’s Tillamook Creamery is taking a tour to give away their ice cream this summer. They’re stopping by Arch City Tavern Monday evening, and the Roosevelt Coffehouse on June 6.
