There’s a lot happening in the Columbus restaurant world – here’s the latest!
- Campus breakfast spot Hang Over Easy announced they’ll open a second location at 51 Parsons Ave., former home of Black Creek Bistro.
- Little Lebanon announced they’ve closed their Polaris storefront to focus on catering instead.
- C’est Si Bon Cafe in Bexley announced they’ll be closing on Sept. 30.
- Provisions on High coffee shop, supplied by Crimson Cup, opened up last week inside the Hilton Downtown Columbus.
- Buckeye Chili & Smokehouse is set to open sometime in October at 30 S. Young St. downtown, previously home to the Hungry Soul Cafe (sniff).
- Columbus Oktoberfest is this weekend, Sept. 7-9, at the Ohio Expo Center and Fairgrounds.
- The Hills Market Downtown hosts Wine & Tots Tasting this Friday, Sept. 7 from 6-8 p.m.
- The Old Hilliardfest art and street fair is Saturday, Sept 8.
- Slice of Columbus is next week Wednesday, Sept. 12 at the Columbus Commons from 5-9 p.m.
- Next week Thursday, Sept. 13, Chef Laura Lee from Ajumama and pastry chef Aaron Clouse are hosting the Best of Both Courses at Kindred Brewing. The ticketed meal features their two specialties: fried chicken and creme brulee!
